Moscow hosts meeting of CIS Security Council secretaries

A regular meeting of the Security Council secretaries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) has kicked off in Moscow, Russia.

Secretary of Azerbaijan’s Security Council Ramil Usubov attends the event.

The meeting is focused on security in the CIS region, international cooperation within the Security Councils, as well as global security, strategic stability, and other issues.

In his opening remarks, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev said that the meeting participants will develop joint approaches to address the existing problems in order to ensure security in the CIS region.
